Jeera rice

Jeera rice Ingredients: Rice of your choice (I've used Sona masuri steam rice) Jeera 3 tsp Jeera powder 2 tsp Salt Corriander leaves (optional) Ghee/oil 4 tsp. Directions:  Heat up pressure cooker and pour some ghee/oil Add Jeera and saute  Once Jeera crackled add rice and fry it in a high flame  Fry for 2-3 minutes untill the rice changes it Colour and doubles the amount  Rice colour changed and the amount of rice looks increased  For one cup of steam rice add 3 cups of water and 1 tsp salt  Add some corriander leaves  Add 2-3 tsp Jeera powder and pressure cook it for 2 whistles in high flame and 3 minutes simmer it.  Once it releases pressure, can open the lid and stir the rice Jeera rice is ready😀 Serve it with the gravy of your choice.it goes well with channa masala, Dal makhani,tadka dal, rogan Josh etc.. I served it with white peas kurma. Note: 1. If you are using Jeera samba rice 1:3, for one cup rice 3 cups

Nattu kozhi kulambu Ingredients: Chicken 700-800gms Onion large 4nos Tomatoes 3-4 no's Kashmiri Red chilli powder 2 tsp Sambar chilli powder 250gms Garam masala 2 spoonful Salt Directions:  Wash the chicken pieces nicely ina running water  Add Turmeric powder and rub nicely to a washed chicken and keep aside  Heat up oil and add cinnamon sticks,cardomom,star anise, cloves  Add onions and saute well in a high flame  Minse ginger and garlic nicely  Add minsed ginger garlic and saute  Add tomatoes and saute  Add Kashmiri red chilli powder, corriander powder,garam masala and fry everything together  Saute everything for 4-5 minutes untill oil ooses out  Add sambar powder and fry for a minute  Saute everything untill the raw smell goes  Add little water and fry for a couple of minutes  Add turmeric rubbed chicken into it  Mix everything well  Add a cup of water and pressure cook it for 2 whistles in high flame and swi

Egg curry / kulambu Recipe Ingredients: Eggs-3-4 no's Onion Tomato Tamarind Curry leaves Corriander seeds Garlic Pepper,saunf, cinnamon,methi seeds Directions  Boil some water and add eggs into it.Allow it to cook for 10-15 mins in a high flame  Soak some tamarind..  Remove eggs from boiling water and wash it in a running water,drain and allow it to cool.  Now it's time to dry roast our ingredients (corriander seeds 1/2tsp,pepper1/4tsp, cinnamon 1 inch,methi seeds 1/4tsp,saunf1/2tsp,Jeera1/2tsp,red chilli 2 pcs)  for better taste.  After switching off the flame add coconut pieces and roast, and allow it to cool  Once it comes to room temperature transfer it to a blender and sprinkle some water and grind  Coarsely ground paste.  Heat up kadai and pour some gingelly oil  Add onions and saute ina high flame  Mince some fresh garlic for better taste..  Once the onion changes its colour add curry leaves, garlic and saute
