Parupu Rasam Recipe
Ingredients
Tamarind 2 inch
Toor dal mashed 1/4 cup
Ghee 2 spoons
Mustard seeds 1tsp
Methi seeds 6-7 nos
Curry leaves
Hing
Pepper 1/4 tsp
Soak tamarind for 5 mins and squeeze nicelyToor dal mashed 1/4 cup
Ghee 2 spoons
Mustard seeds 1tsp
Methi seeds 6-7 nos

Pepper 1/4 tsp
Directions:
Toor dal cooked and mashed well
Add tamarind filtered water along with toor dal
Mash tomato nicely in the toor dal pot.. don't use knife, just squeeze the tomato nicely by hand
Add some rock salt
Add turmeric powder
Add 1 spoon sambar powder
Mix well
Heat up the kadai and mustard seeds
Add methi seeds and 1 red chilli
Add the Rasam mixture to the kadai and bring it to boil
Once it's starts boiling add hing and check the taste
Add salt/ pepper powder/tamarind water
Allow it to boil for 2-3 minutes.And now the Rasam is ready๐
Note:
If you want to make it more spicy adjust the taste of red chillis/ pepper
