Kuzhi Paniyaram - Chettinad special

Kuzhi paniyaram Recipe using leftover dosa batter.
Ingredients:
Left over dosa batter 1 cup
Raw rice/pacharisi 1 cup
Urad dal/ulunthu 1/2 cup
Methi seeds/ ventheyam 1/2 tsp
Small onion 10 nos
Green chilli (optional)

Directions:
 Soak raw rice,urad dal,methi for 3-4 hrs
 Drain it completely and grind in a mixer
 This is my left over dosa batter.dont mind about the sourness of dosa batter it will tastes good.

 Add dosa batter and blended raw rice batter together and add salt
 Finely chopped small onions
 Heat up the kadai add oil,mustard seeds,urad dal,finely chopped green chillies (optional)
 Add small onions and saute for a minute and switch off the flame. Make sure you don't cook too much
 Add the sauted onion into the batter
 Mix well together without any lumps
 Heat up the kuzhi paniyaram mould and pour lil oil
 Pour some paniyaram batter into the mould
 After a couple of minutes time flip over the paniyaram by using a spoon. Cook 2 minutes each side of the paniyaram
Kuzhi paniyaram is ready...It goes well with tomato chutney.
